Brexit consequences for the labeling of building products in accordance with article 2 no. 1 of the European Building Product Regulation (EU-CPR); status 09.12.2022

Here: extension of the transistion period until 30 June 2025

The UK government has published information on 09.12.2022 that the current rules, which allow for continued recognition of the CE mark, will remain in place until legislation is laid to end recognition of the CE mark. The UK government intends to end recognition of the CE mark in GB on 30 June 2025.

The new deadline for the changeover to the UKCA marking is therefore, as of today, 30 June 2025.
